Los Angeles Erupts in Jubilation as Los Angeles Dodgers Secure Second World Series Championship
The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Local events included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to achieve this,” the star player remarked through an translator.
The procession path ended at the stadium, where the players emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and the artist driving a light blue classic car around the field.

Festivities began well before the procession, with Dodgers fans lighting flares in the roads of Downtown Los Angeles on the previous evening.
