Arsenal Take On Wolverhampton Wanderers in Crucial Top-Flight Clash
All eyes turn for a intriguing Premier League contest as league leaders Arsenal entertain bottom-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Emirates Stadium.
Starting Lineups
Arsenal have made a trio of alterations following the team that endured a narrow loss at Aston Villa in their previous outing. William Saliba, the Swedish striker and Gabriel Martinelli all come into the starting eleven. Martin Ødegaard and Mikel Merino are named on the substitutes' bench, while the Italian defender is not involved. Saliba is back after missing a run of games due to injury.
The visitors also make three adjustments to their lineup after being skelped 4-1 at Molineux by Manchester United last time out. Matt Doherty, João Gomes and the South Korean forward are recalled. Hoever and Arias are on the substitutes, while Bellegarde is omitted altogether.

The Setup
Good evening! Because, look at this …
The standings paints a stark picture. Arsenal sit proudly at the summit of the Premier League, while their opponents anchor the league.
… yet while this will be the 42nd occasion the top side have faced the team propping up the entire table – winning 30 victories from 41, with seven tied games – who are responsible for two of the four historical shocks? Indeed, Wolves, that’s who! So while the Arsenal manager will surely be expecting another victory, Rob Edwards must know that underdogs occasionally succeed, and anything is possible. Kick-off is at 8pm GMT. Let's go!
(The other two last-over-first victories in the Premier League era are Oldham Athletic's 1-0 win over United in March 1993, and Spurs – admittedly, a surprising one - defeating Liverpool in November 2008.)
